The Legend of the Chicken Man is one of the most legend-iest. The Legend has it that the Hall of Fame (and very much alive) 3rd baseman drank enough beers to take down a bear on a cross country flight from Boston to Seattle AND went 3 for 5 the next day. The number of beers Boggs drank is highly disputed. Teammates have claimed he drank 50, 60, and even 70 (!!!) beers on that flight.

Inspired by Boggs and my favorite episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, my friends and I once tried this on a flight from Kansas City to Las Vegas... we got the entire plane cut-off.

Of all of his accolades (including being inducted in the Hall of Fame, batting .328 lifetime with over 3,000 hits, & winning a World Championship) I find this one the most impressive.
